Mary Barger Obituary

Mary Baird Barger, 73, passed away at her home in Knoxville on Nov. 30.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eric Barger; parents, Lee and Ruby Moore Baird; brother, Ronald Lee Baird; niece, Angela Baird Wilson; and her beloved dog, Logo.

Mary graduated from LaFollette High School, class of 1967, and Knoxville Business College, where she graduated with honors. Mary worked as comptroller for Brownlee Kesterson Construction in Knoxville for many years, and she and her husband owned and operated Barger Development Co. in Strawberry Plains.

She was active in many social activities, including, but not limited to, the Knox County Republican Party.

Mary is survived by her beloved sister, Linda Baird Daily (Ray); two nephews, Jaye Mitts and Darrin Baird; and many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

No visitation or services is scheduled at this time; however, a memorial celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spay Campbell County Tennessee Pets, P.O. Box 644, LaFollette, TN 37766.
