Remembering the last Sunday Bro. McFarland attended worship service at SBC. After service he wasn't feeling well. We put Bro. McFarland in a circle and prayed for him. I annointed his head with oil as we prayed. It was the first time I had been used of God like that at SBC. I will never forget how receptive Bro. McFarland was in our prayer circle that Sunday morning. Rest In Peace my brother.

Charles was a kind and gentle spirit ,we were band members together at MVSU. We marched together in the 1968 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA. I haven't seen him in over 40 years, but remember him as a dedicated member to our band. My prayers go out to his family.

Charlie was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I had the pleasure of working with him at Troup High. He cared so much about his students and those around him. He was funny, generous, and unflappable. May he rest in peace.
