Claudette Bolles Obituary

Claudette (Bonnie) Capron Bolles, 76, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away peacefully on September 14, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

Bonnie was born April 5, 1940 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Banfield Capron and the late Dorothy Capron. She attended the University of Wisconsin Madison and graduated with a Fashion Merchandising degree from Tobe-Coburn of New York City. She worked at Saks Fifth Avenue, Gimbels and Maison Blanche in NY and also New Orleans. In 1962, she married the late Dr. Milton M. Bolles in Chicago. Bonnie has lived in LaGrange for 45 years raising her children while working part-time at The Grapevine (a Hallmark store). Once the children went to college, Bonnie began a new career at JC Penny's where she retired. She enjoyed traveling around the world, playing bridge, volunteering at the LaGrange Troup County Humane Society, visiting nursing homes with her cat, raising her two daughters and later her grandson. She was also an honored member of the Talisman Garden Club.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Katherine Boatner of McDonough, GA and Victoria and Gregory Hathcox of Atlanta, GA; a grandson Chadbourn Boatner of LaGrange, GA; one brother and sister-in-law Banfield and Jan Capron of Dallas, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, September 21st from 6 to 8pm at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home located at 506 Hill Street, LaGrange, GA 30241. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 22nd at 2:30 p.m., at St. Mark's Episcopal Church located at 207 N. Greenwood Street, LaGrange, GA 30240, with the Rev. R. Allen Pruitt officiating. Burial will take place in the church courtyard following the service. The late Dr. Milton M. Bolles and Bonnie Bolles will be moved at a later date to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to: LaGrange Troup County Humane Society (1390 Orchard Hill Road, LaGrange, GA 30241) and West Georgia Hospice (1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, GA 30241).
