The Celebration of Service for Mrs. Clydale Garrett of Columbus will be Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 563 Old Bremen Road, Carrollton, Georgia. Rev. Bradley Bell will officiate. Burial will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
Mrs. Garrett, a native of Carrollton, Carroll County, was born March 25, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Edgar and Linnie Wood Robinson. She joined the First Baptist Church in Carrollton at an early age. She was employed as head cashier at Dillard's.
She leaves to cherish memories of a fruitful life, her devoted husband of 49 years, Andrew Garrett, Columbus, GA; three daughters: Becky (Randy) Tudor, Evans, GA; Andretta Thomas, Augusta, GA; Annette (Bryan) Williams, North Augusta, SC; two sisters: Tammie ( Rev. Harold) Winters and Jimmie Swint, all of Carrollton, GA; one brother, Edgar (Gwen) Robinson Jr., Atlanta; brother-in-law, George (Rita) Shank, LaGrange, GA; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be at their home at 7179 Paprika Lane in Columbus.
