DeSalvo, Carol Ann 75 years old, of Huntley, IL passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL. She was born January 28, 1939 in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn (Hennings) Frazier. On August 15, 1959, Carol married Sal DeSalvo in Chicago, IL. Shortly thereafter they moved to Antioch, IL where they were lifelong residents. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs, and the DePaul University Blue Demons. Carol loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandsons. Carol had a very vibrant personality and often expressed it with the color red. Please feel free to honor her with a splash of red at the visitation. Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years, Sal; her children, Donna and Linda (Augusto) Salles; her grandsons, Julius, Gabriel, and Lucas; her siblings, Edward (Judith) Frazier, Elizabeth Stramaglia, and Kathy (William) Hamman; many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Evelyn Frazier. Funeral Services 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main Street (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002 to St. Peter Church, 557 Lake Street, Antioch, IL. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Interment immediately following in Hillside Cemetery, Antioch, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
