Chaz: You left us a little too early. I will miss our fishing discussions and the many rounds of golf we played together at Bonnie Brook golf course. May you forever rest in peace and be our guiding light for many years to come. You left a huge hole in my heart, which time will eventually heal. It just won't be the same without you. I remember when I was a very little girl living right next to the Grom family. My brothers Michael & Fred Zaugra would rough play with Charles & Bobbi and maybe even got beat up by them. They both looked huge to me! I remember Harriet. She helped my Mom when the gas stove blew up in my Mom's face. Harriet wss a good neighbor. My brother Michael passed away in 1997, but my brother Fred and I would like to express our condolences to all the Grom family.

My neighbor on Victory st. We would play foot ball in the street with you Bobbie, & Bob Petrusky. Also I remember your dad , butchering the pigs, my mother & father , would enjoy the pork. My dad liked the blood sausage !

It was always a pleasure and usually most enjoyable when the 'Chas' met up at family events as well as KSKJ. You may have had a hard time getting a word in edgewise or otherwise when Chas and Bobby were holding court and sharing the stories. A lifetime of Grom family goodness, well lived and well done. He was a gentle soul, great husband, father, grandfather and my godfather. He was a cousin that shared so many stories about my dad and uncles playing golf. Many stories of KSKJ trips with all of them. And you never wanted to miss getting blood sausage when him and his brother, Bobby, took over for their dad when he passed on.
You will be truly missed by your family.
All my thoughts and prayers are with all of Charlie Grom's family.
