Cynthia Kielp Obituary
Cyndi was a very caring and loving mother and wife. She retired from the Waukegan Public Schools where she taught Kindergarten and First Grade students with great passion and dedication for 31years. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, reading a good book and cheering for the Chicago Bears. She also loved spending time with her family and friends and she always made time to spoil her cats.
Cyndi is survived by her husband, David Kielp; daughter, Jenna Kielp; sister, Debra (Mark) Nauer; brothers, Michael Melius and Jeffrey Melius. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Geraldine Melius.

Hi Dave - It's been almost 55 years since we graduated from St. Anastasia with the class of 1966. I'm very sorry to see that your wife has passed away. She was a real "looker" if you know what I mean. She's in a better place now with her parents and grandparents again. Attached is a pic from grade school which includes you, John Riley and myself, among others, which will hopefully bring a smile to your face. Did they ever get any trees to grow back on Gillette Avenue? I remember seeing before and after pics of what Dutch Elm Disease did to them in Time magazine when I was in the Army in Georgia in the early '70s. If you're ever in the Louisville area feel free to contact me. May Cyndi rest in peace.
