Marisol "Gigi" Morales

1977 - 2015

Marisol "Gigi" Morales, 38, of Gurnee passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at her home.
She was born July 15, 1977 in Waukegan and remained a lifelong resident.
Gigi was a member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish in Waukegan.
Marisol was not only photogenic, but she was beautiful inside and out. Marisol had so many pictures taken of her throughout her life that we're pretty sure Marisol thought she was a celebrity. Family was the most important part of Marisol's life. Marisol may not have had the resources others had, but gave what little she had with the tenderness of her heart.
She looked forward to the changing of the seasons, whether is was decorating the Christmas Tree with her children or decorating the house for another birthday celebration. But Marisol you were the gift to all who truly loved you. You are gone but you will forever be in our hearts.
She is survived by her mother, Delfina Torres; stepfather, Jose M. Torres, Jr. both of Gurnee;
children, Michael Morales (18), Anthony Morales (17), Alexandra Morales (14) all of Gurnee;
sisters, Tanya Gonzales of Naperville, Martina (Mark) DeRose of Waukegan; fourteen special nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marisol is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Santos Norwood and paternal grandmother, Eleuteria Velazquez both whom Marisol cherished. Marisol's Christian grandmothers spoke with her often about a Merciful and Loving God.
Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Most Blessed Trinity Church (Holy Family Site) 450 Keller Ave Waukegan. Interment will be at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago. Visitation will be 4:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME 408 N. Sheridan Rd Waukegan.
