Robert E. Marotta

Robert E. "Bob" Marotta: 52 years old, lifelong resident of Antioch, IL passed away unexpectedly Monday January 25, 2021. He was born in Waukegan, IL the son of Ronald and the late Joanne (neé Wilton) Marotta. Bob worked for over 15 years at the former Webb's Marina now Your Boat Club, Chain O' Lakes. He loved working on small engines, motorcycle riding, snowmobiling, and wildlife. He always made time for his friends, and family, and made the best Christmas gifts for his sister and niece.

Survivors include: his father Ronald Marotta of Antioch, IL; sister Lorie (Ken) Suchomski of Vernon Hills, IL; brother Tony (Holly) Marotta of Burlington, WI; niece Kristen Dvorak of Round Lake Beach, IL; nephews: Andrew and Austin; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother Joanne, Bob was preceded in death by grandparents: Saul and Gladys Wilton and James and Jenny Marotta.

Funeral Services will be held 7:00PM Wednesday February 3, 2021 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002, with visitation beginning at 3:00PM. Interment will be 11:00AM Friday February 5, 2021 in Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to NICASA Round Lake, IL are appreciated in Bob's memory.
