Losing a child leaves a void like no other. It freshens instantly on hearing a song, smelling a scent, seeing a friend or running across a picture. God, in His tender mercies, allows us these brief encounters to remember the best of our loved ones and we will hold on to these as long as we live. I pray that you and yours are blessed with a peace that passes all understanding. Love, Edith

I was shocked to hear the news of Dylan's death. I am at a loss of words and none that I write will ease the pain of the loss of your loved one. Please accept my condolences.

I don't know you or your son but, I have to comment. I appreciate the honest obituary you posted. It shows great strength and character on your part. Please tell your son's story so maybe someone else can benefit from it.

One of God's greatest gifts is the memories of loved ones Lost. On your mind constantly and instantly now, the memories filter down to the best of times, the best jokes, the warmest smiles, the generous gestures and more. I speak as the mother who lost a son(you may remember Lewis)with many of the same qualities as Dylan. My prayer for you and yours is that each day will be a little easier to get through than the day before. Love, Edith
