Elijah McKnight Obituary

Mr. Elijah Duke McKnight, 88, was born May 15, 1924 in Live Oak, Florida to Grant McKnight and Minnie Hawkins McKnight. He was educated in the Suwannee County School System.
Mr. McKnight was employed as an Engineer with the City of Gainesville, Florida.
On March 13, 2013, he transitioned from this life in the Suwannee Health Care Center, Live Oak, Florida.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his children, James McKnight, Jacksonville, Florida, Nathaniel McKnight, Yvonne McKnight, both of Gainesville, Florida, Linda McKnight-Sampson, Columbus, Georgia; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. McKnight will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2013 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. viewing one hour prior to service.
