Hilton Jones 72 passed away Sunday October 7, 2018, at his home. A native of Walton County, Fla. He moved to Lake City, FL from St Stephens SC. He is a retired masonry employee, and transportation person for Caesar Funeral Home. Hilton is proceeded in death by his parents Albert & Katherine (Dawson) Jones, Sr. Stepfather, F. L. Lewis, siblings Albert G. Jones, Jr., & Iro Joe Lewis, aunt Alyce J. Caesar. His memory will live on in the hearts of his devoted wife, Abbie Jones, Lake City, Fl. Children, Tim Jones,(Micah) Panama City, Fl, Bernard Lucas, Jr. Kelton Ficklin, Lake City, Fl, Amanda Luke,(Michael) Lake City, FL., Hillary D. Jones St. Stephens, SC Irene Lucas, Lake City, FL. Siblings; Carlton Lewis,(Essie) Lake City, FL, Alfonzo Lewis (Josie), Andrew Lewis,(Rosa) and Jerry Lee Lewis,(Felicia) all of Marianna, FL Edith Boone,(Leroy),Marianna FL., Earnestine Lewis, Lake City, FL, Bristhine Lewis, Lake City, FL, Elnora Pollock, Coral Springs, FL, Eleana Townsend, (Gary) Miami, FL, Eliza Mullins, (Bruce) Jacksonville ,Fl. Five grandchildren,. Funeral Services for Mr. Jones will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM, at New Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church, 709 NW Long Street Lake City, FL. Rev. Lantz Mills, Pastor, Bishop Willie James Lucas, Officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Rest. Under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W.8th Ave Gainesville, Fl. 32601. Visitation Friday Oct 12,2018 at New Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church 6:00 8:00PM and on Saturday at the church one hour before the service. The cortege will form at the home of Mrs. Jones 534 N E Washington Street at 12:15 PM
