His father and grandmothers, Alberta Davis and Maetta Moultrie precede him in death.
Dell is survived by his always supportive mother, Margaret Moultrie; his pride, children Kristal J. Smith, and Johnathan "Jay" Smith, Jr; his companion of 15 years, Barbara Miller; sisters Kumari Anderson Young, Dinyada Anderson, Francenes Smith-McQuay (Mike); brother, Tashea Everette; aunts, Annie Moultrie-Demas, Lillie Mae Grant; uncle, James Davis; special niece Treylyn Marshall; hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Jonathan "Dell" Smith will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024, at The Boss Palace, SE Bonds St, Lake City, FL. Public viewing will convene 1 hour prior to the service, on Saturday.
