Lizzie Mae Hopkins

On October 5, 2012, Mother Lizzie Mae Hopkins answered the summons to meet her Heavenly Father. Mother Hopkins, 88, was born January 5, 1924 in Fort White, Florida to Horace and Evella McHenry. Both preceded her in death. She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. E.L. Lawrence. She served faithfully until her health failed. A daughter, Frances McNair also preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories; daughters, Ruth M. Bing (Eugene), Ruby Majors, Patricia Cook, Marie Laster (David), Rose Burls; sons, George Cook, Jr. (Delores), Alfonso Cook, B.L. Julks (Phyllis), James Patterson (Beverly); sister, Geneva Seaborn; brother, Roosevelt McHenry (Evelyn); sisters-in-law, Emma Lou Hopkins, Beatric Hampton, Chennie Davis; (27) grandchildren (65) great grandchildren, (47) great-great grandchildren; hosts of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mother Lizzie Mae Hopkins will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Fort White, FL. Rev. Donell Sanders, Pastor.
