Betty Jane Stilke was called in death on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Hearthstone Manor in Woodstock, IL.
Betty Jane Seib was born July 19, 1927 in Prairie View, IL to Jacob and Agnes Seib. On May 14, 1949, she was married to Fred Stilke. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Ellen and Richard.
Fred and Betty farmed in Lake County, IL from 1953 to 1983.
Preceding Betty into the Lord's care was her husband Fred, son Richard, parents Agnes and Jacob, brothers Oscar, Paul (Juanita), and Kenneth, sisters Dorathea (Clarence) Jones, Mildred (Elto) Arnott, and Dolores (Arnold) Spielbauer.
Survivors include daughter Ellen (Marty) Duke of Ft. Mohave, AZ, daughter-in-law Cari Stilke of Woodstock, grandsons Grant (Amanda) Stilke of Gilbert, IL and Jacob Stilke of Pace, FL, great grandson Remington of Pace, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial gathering from 9:30AM until the 11AM funeral service on Friday, January 24, 2025, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. Old McHenry Rd., Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047.
May God give rest to her body and life to her soul as we await the resurrection.
