Christian C. Wolf
LAKE GENEVA - Christian C. Wolf, age 75, died on September 15, 2023 at his home in Lake Geneva, following a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley; sons: Rodney (Brenda) Wolf, Brian Wolf, and Mark (Rena) Wolf. He had four grandchildren: Timothy, Brandon, Lynn, and Patti. Christian is also survived by his two brothers: Robert Wolf and Ronald Wolf; as well as his sister, Crystal Karn. His parents Robert and Betty Wolf and a granddaughter, Kristy, preceded him in death. Christian is additionally survived by two aunts, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
After graduating from Whitewater High School, he attended Gateway Technical College where he studied to be an Electrician. Christian worked for over 50 years at his trade with Foster Forbes Glass Company, currently Ardagh in Burlington, WI.
His family time involved being active with his sons in Y-Indian Guides in the early 1980's, and later with Racine County 4-H as Electricity and Small Engine Leader. Many summers were spent at Camp Fairwood in Westfield, WI. Christian served on the camp board and helped build the new dining hall.
He was known for his strong work ethic and generous heart. He was an avid mini golf player; also, a member of the Badger Lapidary Geological Society and The Rock River Valley Geological Society.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 12:00 (noon)–2:00 p.m. at Calvary Community Church in Lake Geneva, WI. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Cervenka officiating.
The family thanks the Aurora at Home Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Calvary Community Church and Lakeland Animal Shelter.
