LAKE GENEVA - David Burton Hackett born Oct. 20, 1929 in Boulder, CO died October 13, 2021 died in Lake Geneva, WI at the age of 91.

David lived life to the fullest, he was an expert archer, a ski instructor, he loved hunting, camping, fishing, golf, the Packers, jazz music, traveling out west, and anything to do with the great outdoors.

He worked at Baxter Travenol as a Supervisor designing medical equipment. He also worked at Borg Instruments as a tooland die maker. He had his own machinest business, and archery shop in his basement, and was a licensed pilot and flew a private plane.

David is survived by his brother Jon Terry Hackett, Greendale, WI; daughter Melanie R. Domino, Genoa City, WI; daughter Bonnie Hackett, Racine, WI; grandson Vincent D.S. Domino, Lake Geneva, WI; grandson Michael J. Domino, Genoa City, WI; granddaughter Felecia S. Chan, Kenosha, WI; granddaughter Olivia S. Chan, Kenosha, WI; grandson Bruce A. Hackett, Peoria, AZ; grandson Matthew J. Hackett, Peoria, AZ; seven great-grandchildren; his beloved dog Layla; and cat, Button. He was loved by many, and will be greatly missed.

Services for David will be held on Friday October 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Church in Pell Lake, WI. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. till the time of service at the church on October 29, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family at the service, Trinity Church, Pell Lake WI or mailed to Trinity Church C/O Melanie Domino, W775 Geranium Rd., Genoa City, WI 53128.
