Elizabeth Helen "Bette" Nohelty, age 90, was born on March 21, 1935, in Lake Geneva, WI to John and Lois Nichols. She passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at her home in Mount Prospect. Beloved wife for 66 years to the late Walter Nohelty; Loving mother to her seven children, Kathy (Tom) Walczak, Lori (Joe) Stanger, Cindy Nohelty, Kerry (Carlos) Molina, Mary (John) Fitzpatrick, Kevin (Adreain) Nohelty, and Sean Nohelty; Adoring grandmother of Kay (Josh) Davis, Nicholas (Tristine) Stanger, Jack Nohelty, Sarah Stanger, Karter Fitzpatrick, Joseph Stanger, Mackenzie Molina, Maggie Fitzpatrick, Maeve Molina, and the late Fiona Fitzpatrick; Grandma-Great to Kipling, Wolfric, and Sorrel Stanger. Services were held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at St. Emily Parish, 1400 E. Central Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Interment at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Macular Degeneration Research or Arthritis Foundation. Condolences can be given at Friedrich's Funeral Home.
