May 3, 1939 - October 30, 2025

Ronald E. Lantz, age 86, a resident of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at his home.

Ron was born on May 3, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, to the late Herbert and Ruby (Copas) Lantz. On November 22, 1979, he married Catherine V. Kutella at Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle, Illinois.

A retired truck driver, Ron was known for his love of the outdoors, his knack for tinkering, and his ever-present smile. Ron also loved vacationing with family, making lasting memories together. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and his willingness to help others.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Catherine; his children and step-children: Shari Valdes (Sam), Joe Lantz, Michael (Renee) Northern, Kathleen (Kurt) Witbrod, Susan (Lee) Miller, Charmaine (Jay) Carter, Rich Kutella, and Angie Rodriguez; and his son-in-law, Mitch Ruiz. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his step-son, Russell Northern; step-daughter, Michele Ruiz; granddaughter, Heather Fletcher; and granddaughter, Lisa Valdes.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of life reception will be held afterwards at the Pioneer Estates Clubhouse.
