August 1, 1950 - September 3, 2025

WILLIAMS BAY – Ruth Wright, age 75, of Williams Bay passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at home. She was born on August 1, 1950 in Chicago to Steven and Ludmilla (Simo) Bertok. Ruth was united in marriage to Lowell Wright on April 12, 1981 in Redlands, CA. She worked in schools as a teacher and aide, but would have considered being a Mom and Wife as her primary occupation. Ruth had a deep passion for her family, her church, and her flowers.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Lowell; daughter, Rebecca Burkhardt, of Hickory Creek, TX; three sons, Robert (Karin) Burkhardt, of Hickory Creek, TX, Bruce (Deborah) Burkhardt, of Lake Dallas, TX, and Jonathan (Glorianne) Wright, of North Brunswick, NJ; and eight grandchildren, Tyler, Claire, Anabelle, Cassia, Eloise, and Stephanie Burkhardt, and Boston and Kaliana Wright.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and a sister.

Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Delavan Christian Reformed Church, 850 Oak Street in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan and an hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday at the church. Burial will take place at East Delavan Union Cemetery. Memorials can be directed to Delavan Christian School. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan is assisting the family.
