Charles Paddock Obituary

Charles Joseph Paddock was born into this world on June 26th, 1969 and departed it on November 22nd, 2024. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Jamilah. His four loving children, Darius, Cyrus, Quincy and Jasmine His sister Laurie Anne Paddock and her partner James Branstetter His aunt and adopted sister Karen J. Paddock His mother in-law Jamilah Ibrahim His brother's in law Hamaas(Kaneicia)Ibrahim and Ali Ibrahim His god father Michael Leppen And many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as friends and extended family members who all loved Charlie. He graduated from Waukegan High School in 1987. He worked for Lake County Press for 21 years. He was a coach for many years through the Waukegan Park District and was President of the Youth Baseball Association. Charlie was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. On his 40th birthday, he threw out the opening pitch of the Cubs game, a thrilling experience for him. He loved life, his family, watching sports and dining out. He is preceded in death by his mother Sharon Lynn Paddock(Schlicht) His grandmother and adopted mother Jean D. Paddock His great grandparents Napoleon and Elsie LeClerc His brother-in-law Idris Ibrahim. A celebration of life will take place in celebration of his birthday and his life, on June 28thth at the Belvidere Park Pavilion in Waukegan at 5:30p.m. Friends and family are invited to come share their memories of Charlie.
