Jesse Holmes Obituary

Jesse M. Holmes

Funeral services for Holly, Colo. resident Jesse M. Holmes will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Holly High School gymnasium. Uncle Dale Willhite, Uncle Jerry Willhite, and Rev. Neil Burum will all officiate the service and burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Holmes will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2009 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly.

Mr. Holmes was born on September 8, 1986 in Garden City, Kan. and departed this life on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the age of 22, as the result of a single vehicle accident.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Jo and Claude Schlager and Frank and Nancy Holmes both of Walsh, Colo.; and by his maternal great grandparents, John and Louise Willhite of Holly, Tess and Erma Craig of Holly, and Clarence Atkinson of Crawford, Colo.

Jesse is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Jan Holmes of Holly; by two sisters, Marissa Holmes of Colorado Springs; and Kristen Holmes of Houston, Texas; by his paternal grandparents, Delmar and Patsy Holmes of Holly; by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Roberta Willhite of Holly. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Jesse Holmes Memorial Fund in care of Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel.
