I met KC in a card room in Everett, WA when I was 19 and Kenny was 34. He immediately adopted me and always looked out for me. Went to the horse races with him and Michiko and Rick. Longacres and Portland Meadows. KC knew everyone and played fast pitch softball with my dad in the early 70’s. His niece described him perfectly, he loved to tell jokes and loved to live life without working in the traditional sense. Sharp and wise, that was KC to me. Last saw him in Everett around 2000 and I think he went back to Colorado for the last time around then. RIP KC.
