Robert Decker Obituary
As per Roberts request, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside will take place at a later date.
Robert was born March 7, 1938 to Donald Jay and Anna Marie (Lara) Decker and passed away on May 17, 2016 at his home in Lamar Colorado with his family by his side.
He is preceded in death by his father Don Decker.
Robert is survived by his wife Sharon Decker of the family home, daughter Tracy (Brett) Buxton in Lamar, sons Dean (Isabel) Decker of Rye, Chuck Decker of Pueblo West CO, Justin(Christina) Decker of La Salle, CO, mother Anne Decker of Rye, CO, sister Joann Powers of Rye, Richard (Janice) Decker of Rye, Ed (Debbie) Decker of Rye and Beth Olsen of Woodland Park, grandchildren, Bryton, Maddie, Megan, Candace, Baylee, Anna, Stetson and Trey. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Lamar Area Hospice (www.lamarhospice.org) either through Peacock Funeral Home in Lamar or direct to hospice.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.

My name is Roger Gomez a NY transplant who had the incredible fortune to meet and enjoy both Bob and Sharon Decker and their kids, Dean, Tracy, Chuck when the lives in their ranch in Rye ... They were so kind, gracious, and shared everything they owned with others... They "loved" by example and their kindness was abundant and never in short supply. God bless you Bob and thank you for teaching this kid from the Bronx to rides a horse. We surely could use a lot more honest and grounded gentlemen like you today because real men like you are definitely in short supply. Ride with God in peace my friend... Your friend...Roger

My heartfelt sympathies go out to family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring
