Jayden Spires Obituary
Lancaster - Jayden Spires, 12, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 23, 2018. Jayden was born on September 18, 2005 to his loving parents, James and Erin Spires.
An inspiration to many for his courage and strength, Jayden also had many loves. He was an artist whose paintings are treasured by many. He also found great joy in both listening to and performing music. Jayden also loved being outdoors, spending time with loved ones and feeling the breeze. He was also able to take part in the Miracle League playing baseball.
Jayden is survived by his parents, Erin and Ryan Spires; grandparents, Donna and Greg Fallon, Julie Fox, and Rick Spires; great grandparents, Linda (Barnes) Thomas and Ralph Thomas, and Margaret Spires; aunts and uncles, Aaron Hoy and Hannah Radcliff-Hoy, Sabina and Jason Hosafros, and Kenneth Balthaser; and many loving cousins, family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his great grandmothers, Alice Thomas, and Agnes Fallon; and great grandfather, Jim Spires.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Jennifer Converse RN, for her loving care of Jayden.
Services will take place at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 28th from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the same location Wednesday, August 29th at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Greg Voight officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jayden Spires to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, 711 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Oh, 43205.

Seeing pictures of Jayden on Facebook posted by his grandmother allowed me to see how much this little boy was loved.
