Robert Dean Morris

BREMEN: Robert Dean Morris, 80, of Bremen, died Monday, April 12, 2010 in his residence.
He was born June 29, 1929 in Bremen, the son of Lawrence Chester and Ruth Doris (Bowen) Morris. Bob was a 1947 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Ohio Oil Gathering Company as a truck driver. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Bremen.
Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan (Clark) Morris, whom he married August 16, 1957; five children, David Morris, Alan Morris, Tracy (Shaloane) Morris, Scott Morris and Cindy (Timothy) Powers; grandchildren, Anthony and Katie, Joseph and Jessica, Scotty, Troy and Lacy, Cassy and Corey, Brianna, Makalah, Whitney and Jacob; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Doris Ballmer Madsen.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 til 8 p.m. in the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Raymond Sharritts officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
