Shirley Denney Miller

LANCASTER: Shirley Denney Miller 84 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Main Street Terrace Care Center.

She was a retired waitress, known as "Charlie" for Maugers Seafood Restaurant with over 40 years of service. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and had a great love for her family and animals.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (James) Woltz and Barbara Wolf all of Lancaster, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kimberlee (Thomas) Fraser, Patrick (Kiley) Woltz, Benjamin (Amy) Conrad and Nathan (Joey) Conrad; 11 great grandchildren, Brittany, Thomas and tiffany Fraser, Tyler and Julie Woltz, Colby, Caylen, Claire, Owen, Charlie and Nicholas Conrad.

A special thank you to the staff at Main Street Terrace Care Center and Central Ohio Hospice for their love and care of Shirley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred "Butch" miller, father, Dorsey Denney, son-in-law, David L. Wolf and step-mother, Oliva Denney.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Chaplain Mark Pierce officiating. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Thursday from 11-1pm at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts may be given to Fairfield County Humane Society, PO Box 1109, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 in her memory.
