Steven Svoboda Obituary
LANCASTER: Steven E. Svoboda 53 of Lancaster, Ohio, lost his battle to ALS on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his residence.
He was an engineer with Decision One in Grove City, Ohio. He liked boating and working on cars.
Steven is survived by his wife of 28 years, Leigh Svoboda; daughter, Melissa (Colin) Straits of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchild, Mackinley Straits; parents, Ed and Gene Svoboda of Lancaster, Ohio; brother, Mark (Shelley) Svoboda of Geneva, Illinois; sisters, Laura (Steve) Misch of Cleveland, Ohio, Karen (Paul Wacker) Cook of Lancaster, Ohio, Joy (Carl) Patton of California, Anne (David) Snider of Somerset, Ohio and Debra (Tom) Rowland of Valparaiso, Indiana; his extended Bennett Family, Gene, Becky, Craig, Jennifer, Lisa, Shaun, Brian and Fred and many nieces and nephews.
Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Family and friends may visit Monday, July 10, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to the ALS Association Central and Southern Ohio Chapter, 1170 Old Henderson Rd., Suite 221, Columbus, Ohio 43220 in his memory.
