Adolfo Maes Obituary
He is survived by his wife Omelia Maes; daughter Evelyn Stump and husband Patrick Stump; son Michael Maes and wife Celeste Maes; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Amalia Regensberg; father Adolfo Maes, Sr.; and son Christopher Paul Maes.
Adolfo was born in Terrero, N.M. He lived in Las Vegas, N.M. where he attended school and graduated from Robertson High School. He then moved to Albuquerque, N.M. where he remained a lifelong resident.
He was a proud veteran and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He later pursued a career with Sandia National Laboratories where he retired after 35 years of employment.
Adolfo will always be remembered for the love of his family, his friends and community.
A viewing will be held at FRENCH - Lomas on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 from 1 - 5 p.m. Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl NE, Albuquerque, N.M. 87108, on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. He will be laid to rest in Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.
