Alice Maestas Obituary
She was born on Aug. 6, 1938 to Frances Aranda and Macedinio Maestas in Tererro, N.M.
Alice was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She loved to cook, help out anyone in need. She was very giving.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Frances Aranda and Macedinio Maestas; brothers, Bonnie Maestas and Sal Alirez; sisters, Toni Maestas and Andrea Collins; son Darryll Lujan; daughters, Sandra Lujan and Darlene Lujan.
Alice is survived by son Dewi Lujan of Las Vegas, N.M., son-in-law Johnny Tafoya of Las Vegas, N.M.; grandchildren, Leo Chris Vigil (Monica), David Lujan (Vanessa), Tina Silva (Ashley), Santana Ulibarri and Jewel Vigil (Jacob), Christian, and Marisa; great-grandchildren, Myranda, Troy, Aluzema, Joaquin, Alandra, Landon, Ricky, Michael and Lindsey; great-great-grandchildren, Liam and Kayden; brother Louie Maestas of Nebraska; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rosary services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant, on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 at 9 a.m.
Cremation has taken place, and burial of cremains will be held at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Las Vegas, N.M.
