Irisa Montaño Obituary
She was born to her mother Deborah Jeannette Montaño on June 8, 2000, in Albuquerque. She was a loving sister and aunt. She was very driven and looked forward to being a nurse.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Mario Montaño and maternal grandparents Julio and Oralia Montaño.
She is survived by her sister, Brittani Angel (Jeff) of Frisco, Texas; nephews Jack, Logan and Lucian; aunts and uncles Ramona Jaramillo, Judy Montaño, Della Minner (Rick) and Anthony Montaño (Margaret), all of Las Vegas; Rick Montaño (Elizabeth) of Las Cruces, N.M.; Toby Montaño of Louisiana and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
A rosary service will be recited on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 7 p.m., followed by a funeral, conducted on Friday, June 1, 2018, 2 p.m., with both services to be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant.
Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will be at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M.
