He was born on Oct. 21, 1948 to Enrique Trujillo and Aurora Archuleta in Taos, N.M.
Ramon is preceded in death by his mother Aurora Archuleta; brothers, Regino Archuleta, Arturo Archuleta and Tomas Archuleta; sister Frances "Chisca" Pacheco; godson Wilfred Lucero Jr.; nephews, Arturo Vigil, Andrew Trujillo; niece Doris Salazar; special friends, Ben Tafoya and Carlos Sisneros.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary C. Trujillo; daughters, Carla Rubio and Alora E Rubio; son Cesario Rubio; step-son Michael A. Castenada; grandchildren, Carlos Rubio and Jerry (Rachel); great grandchildren, Carlos Jr., Jenina, Aurora, Andrew, Nathaniel, Kyra, Vincent and Garland; step-grandchildren, Sequoia, Xavier and Olivia; great great grandchild Areli; sisters, Libby Vigil and Esther Martinez; brothers, James Trujillo (Stella), Felix Archuleta (Frances) and Henry Trujillo (girlfriend Barbara); brother-in-law Cesario Sena (Emily); sister-in-laws, Carmen Matilde Torres and Connie Archuleta; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Rosary service will be held on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows in Las Vegas, N.M.
