Aerin Rose Glaser

05/18/2005 - 02/03/2024 - Aerin Rose Glaser, a beloved member of the Motzkin-Glaser clan, was wise beyond her years and a creative powerhouse who was constantly building, imagining, and dreaming. Until her last moments, she brought family and loved ones together and poured all of her energy into a seemingly limitless number of creative pursuits. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and friends, at the age of 18.
Aerin was a graduate of Windward School and a freshman at USC in the School of Dramatic Arts, studying Theatrical Design with a focus on Costume. An incredible artist, Aerin mastered fiber arts, sewing, welding and soldering, setting gemstones, beading, and created her own line of clothing and jewelry. Aerin was recognized for her talents with an internship at Dior in Paris during the summer of 2023, a remarkable achievement for her young age.
She constantly explored new media and imbued her effervescent spirit into everything she touched and created. Aerin gave and gave and gave readily to loved ones who will forever cherish the manifestations of her skill. She worked tirelessly to materialize the countless ideas that flowed freely from her mind and hands.
The community of individuals whose lives were touched by Aerin is vast. Her life-affirming positivity, humor, and brave honesty even in the face of unfair and daunting circumstances inspired those who knew her to recognize the gift of life and become stronger themselves.
She is survived by her parents, Nancy and Jon, her siblings, Justine and Levi, her grandparents, Sharon and Herb Glaser and Rita Polkes Motzkin, a multitude of aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and her dogs, Tuxedo and Auggie Blue.
