Alexandra Catherine Skiba passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 31. After a two week stay at Cedar Sinai Hospital in LA, she passed unexpectedly. Alexandra was born July 13, 1989 in Petaluma, CA. She is the daughter of Catherine Mary McCormack (Skiba) and Brian Edward Skiba. She was the oldest of three children. Her brother, Parker Skiba died at 23yo, (2/26/1994- 12/12/2017) She is survived by her Mother, Father and Sister, Meaghan Skiba, (1/2/1991 - )
Alexandra was an actress of exceptional beauty and extraordinary talent.
Her talent and attraction drew packed audiences in live stage performances (The Fringe in Scotland, Spiked Heels in North Hollywood, California) and commanded a social media influencer following on several internet communities. Alexandra grew up Bi-Coastal in several States as well as Internationally, attending schools in the UK including St. Georges Ascot, graduating with high honors in acting, dance and piano. Following an acting career, she continued her education graduating from the NY Film Academy Los Angeles, California in film acting.
Alexandra was gifted with an effervescent personality and multiple talents in the Arts. She had an abundance of friends inclusive of many cultural and socioeconomic communities. She walked with a spark and charisma that turned heads in every moment, always leaving the person, space, thing or animal better off than before she got there. She had a unique personality of both rare beauty and kindness, with a magnetism that attracted the love of others in all stratospheres. Animals had a natural affinity to her, having had many pets she leaves behind her wolf mate, Nashoba, a pure white, noble, extremely loyal and devoted Husky mix.
Alexandra was loved and will be dearly remembered by her friends, family and many, many people worldwide.
In Alexandra's Memory, a Memorial Scholarship site was created and administered by 10 Arts Foundations to promote the memory of Alexandra and donate to aspiring actors' development that attend her alma mater - the New York Film Academy. https://alexandraskibamemorialscholarship.org.
