Born June 16, 1911, in San Francisco. For 69 years, beloved husband of Noeline; devoted father of Andrea Kostyzak (Jacob); inspirational grandfather of Katy Coyle (Jeffery), Karin Kostyzak, Annette Shimada (Michael), and Jonathan Kostyzak (Heather); loving great-grandfather of Trevor and Nina Coyle, Alexa and Andre Shimada, and Alexander and Kaitlyn Kostyzak. Brother of deceased Rene Regla (Cecile), and Louise Moore; uncle of Peter Regla (Betsy), Jeanne and Bonnie Moore. Great-granduncle to Louis Regla. We carry forward his love, generosity and enthusiasm for life. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 17, 2003, at 11:30 a.m., at Risen Christ Chapel, Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, 5835 West Slauson Avenue, Culver City, 90230, with entombment following. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. John of God Retirement and Care Center/Alzheimer's Unit, 2468 South Saint Andrew's Place, Los Angeles, CA 90018.
