Finest Professor at USC. I am one of former students from 1981. My life is better because of him.

Andy taught me in an introductory, night accounting class for MBA students without a business background in 1972. To have the Dept. Chair teach such a course was unique. He was thorough and incredibly interesting in covering topics. He could relate so many practical examples from his consulting experience which made the lessons so much more understandable. He was, by far, the best teacher I had, not just at USC, but in any college course. I'm very sad to hear of his passing.

Professor Mosich taught me many important lessons as an Accounting Student in his Intermediate Accounting Class at USC in the early 1980's. Hard work, promptness and ethics are a few things that come to mind. He was always there to help guide me in my studies...very fond memories. The educational community has lost someone very special...he will be missed.

Andy was on the front side of his professorial career when I was an undergrad at UCLA. His homework assignments were legendary. My future acctg partner, Bill Robi, had him at USC, and developed a lifelong friendship. Andy was a true credit to the profession. No sorrow here for a life well lived. John Hoag, UCLA '60

Your family were great neighbors. I remember selling you our china cabinet which you turned into a bookcase. It became a fixture in your office.
Selling our house to you made our move so much easier.

Dorothy, I first met Andy as a student in cost accounting at UCLA in 1961. Every now and then he and I would meet for some good conversation over a meal. When I think of my times with him it brings a big smile to my face. My wife Benita was also a student of his. She and I send you and your entire family our deepest sympathy.

Dear Dorothy and Daughters,
I remember meeting Andy and you at The Bistro Garden. We would see each other there on most Saturday nights. We were, my husband Don and I, always happy to visit with you and Andy and your daughters. It was a time of wonderful meals, special guacamole made especially for Andy, good conversation and delicious champagne.
My deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved Andy.

I had the honor to be Professor Mosich's accounting student at USC in the 1970's. He was a true professional who taught his students the value of a hard work ethic, honesty, and punctuality.
I will always remember him as my favorite professor at USC. Thank you, Professor Mosich.

I was saddened to see Andy's obituary in the L.A. Times today. When I was studying accounting in 1969 I used his Intermediate Accounting text book. Then when I started my still active accounting career in 1970 with Haskins & Sells, Andy was used by the firm to teach a CPA review course to the new staff. He left his mark on me and on the accounting profession. I only wish I had the opportunity to take more courses from him.
