Kotler, Betty Lesin
The family of Betty Lesin Kotler is deeply saddened to announce her death occurring on Friday night, October 3, 2003 at her home with her family. She is widely known and loved for her indomitable spirit and ceaseless devotion to her family and the values of Judaism. She leaves a legacy of friendship, energy for life, and cultural enrichment for the community in which she lived. Born in New York, she was an accomplished businesswoman, and leader of her synagogue and causes for the state of Israel. Betty was predeceased by her husbands Rabbi Arnold Lesin and Beryl Kotler. She is survived by her children Rachelle Mark, Eric Lesin, Debra Norman; her grandchildren Julia Brill, Jeremy Mark, Gisela Friedman, Sara and Arnold Lesin, and Claire Norman; her great-grandchildren Ryan and Brandon Brill, Logan Mark, Isabel and Eli Friedman; her beloved companion Ralph Pearlman; as well as countless friends and admirers. For those wishing to honor Betty's memory, the family requests that contributions be made to the State of Israel or Jewish Education.
