March 6, 1941 - November 27, 2009
Born March 6, 1941 in Pasadena, CA to Carl and Elizabeth Larson. Passed away November 27, 2009 in San Clemente, CA where he enjoyed the beach life with his wife Sally.
Survived by his wife, Sally Baxley-Larson; sons Erik and Gregg, step-children Katie McNamara, Nancy Elwood, Cindy Raves, Bill and David Baxley; 13 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren and caretaker Phillip Raves.
He grew up in Laurel Canyon, CA and graduated from Hollywood High in 1959, received a B.S. degree from UCLA and M.S. from UCSD. Dr. Larson earned his PhD. from the University of Washington in 1968 where he taught for 5 years.
A lifelong research scientist Dr. Larson worked on various projects for SRI in Menlo Park, CA; then for the University of Dayton-Ohio and the USAF at Edwards AFB.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice.
