Carol Pantages Obituary

December 8, 1937 - December 9, 2022 Carol Thomas Pantages was born on Dec. 8, 1937 to Louise Pearce Thomas and William C. Thomas at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She attended Hawthorne School, Marlborough and USC where she was a Kappa Alpha Theta and received the outstanding senior award. In 1959, she married Thomas L. Jeffries and they had three children, Jennifer Louise 1960-1989, Julianne 1962 and William Thomas 1966. She was a very active volunteer serving on the boards of many charitable organizations. When her marriage ended in 1980, she began a 25-year career in residential real estate in Hancock Park. In 1983, she married Alex Pantages and enjoyed 35 years of happiness until he passed away in 2016. Always a voracious reader and passionate bridge player, she was first a most loving mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughter Julie, son Bill and his wife, Julie, stepson, Lee Pantages and stepdaughter, Mary and husband Jim Salvador and five grandchildren. Donations in her memory to Homeboy Industries or the charity of your choice.
