Charles Frederick Sharp Jr.

March 6, 1944 - July 15, 2025 Chuck was born and raised in Miami, FL. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and the U. of Miami School of Medicine, subsequently training at LA County/USC Medical Center. He served as a medical officer in the Army, receiving a bronze star, then joined the faculty at the USC School of Medicine. For 50 years he lived in Pasadena and operated the Center for Metabolic Bone Disease and Endocrinology. He put his passion for medical education to work serving on the academic faculty of Huntington Memorial Hospital, including a term as Chief of Staff. Chuck is survived by his wife of 55 years, Inez, his children, Charlie and Jillian (son-in-law Jim), and his grandchildren, Robert and Andrew.
