Clare Rose Obituary

December 20, 1933 - November 9, 2024 Our beloved mother, Clare Ann Rose, passed away on November 9, 2024, in Los Angeles, at the age of 90.
Clare was born in NYC, and moved to LA at the age of 3 years old. She excelled in school, and was a proud UCLA Bruin. She met Norman Rose in college, and decided to forego law school to get married and start her family.
In the 70s, Clare went back to UCLA and earned a graduate degree. After graduating with the highest of honors, she started her consulting firm, The Evaluation and Training Institute, which is still in business today. All of her children worked at ETI at some point, and lovingly teased their mother that ETI was her "fifth child".
While her professional career was important to her, when her grandkids were born, they quickly became her main focus. She loved to babysit and started doing so when they were only months old. She fostered a relationship with each one of them, even hiring them to work at ETI when they were of age. She took them on grand vacations and loved taking them to musicals and movies too.
Clare is survived by her daughter Linda, sons Lawrence, Mitch, and David, son-in-law Barry, daughter-in-law's Madeleine, Romy and Ashley, and her cherished grandchildren, Deanne, Kevin, Sarah, Jack, and grandson-in-law Tomer, and granddaughter-in-law Meredith. To say Clare treasured her family is simply an understatement. Clare's life was long and wonderful, and she will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
