Dale Crane Obituary

Crane, Dale E.
February 22, 1947 - February 13, 2011
Dale Everett Crane passed away at the age of 63 on February 13, 2011 at his home in Oak Park, California, after an exhausting battle with cancer.
Dale was an incredible human being - a man who made a point to be there for every single family member this past year (as he always had been), in spite of his ongoing struggle with pain. In his long and fulfilling life, Dale served our country in the Marines, married the best, most beautiful girl he ever met, started a successful business, raised four wonderful children, became an amateur vintage race car driver, walked his three daughters down the aisle, saw all of his grandchildren minutes after they were born, created his dream home and backyard oasis in Oak Park, traveled the world, became the #1 volunteer and supporter on the "Quayle for Congress" campaign and left us knowing that his son was engaged to a very special young lady. Everything was in its place.
Dale leaves behind his loving wife of 36 years, Shawn; their four children, Tiffany Quayle, Danielle Stone, Tracey Crane and Courtney Lively; two godchildren, David Brogan and Elizabeth Johnson; and three grandchildren, Amelia, Carter and Kate Stone.
A Memorial Service is being held at a private residence in Malibu, California on Saturday, February 19, 2011. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to www.standup2cancer.org.
