Please accept my deepest condolences, Leah, Aaron and Mark. I truly enjoyed my conversations with Debbie about her amazing garden and her plans for a green remodel for her home. She was so feisty and full of vitality that it is truly difficult to believe she is gone so suddenly.

Dear Mark, Aaron and Leah:
I am so sorry to hear of Debbies passing over.
May you find solace in sharing remembrance of the joy she brought into your daily family life. These shared memories are yours to recall when moments of physical connection are no longer present.
Though I only had brief interactions with Debbie on family gatherings, it was in heartfelt interchange of our love of dogs and appreciation of nature that we made a connection. May you hold the blessings of her presence in your hearts and know that she will always be there when needed. Love, Gwynne

To Mark & Family, and Peter & Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathies. We were devastated to hear of Debbie's passing. Debbie was the oldest of our 38 first cousins, and it was so wonderful seeing her in Breckinridge at the 2016 Burke Family Reunion. She was just so happy and so much fun to be around. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Cousin Larry & Lauren Yakaitis, Mystic, CT

This is such sad news. We'd recently seen Debbie at a seminar and open house given by Morgan Stanley. Even though we'd only met once or twice, she made us feel like old friends. We will always remember her intelligence, wonderful sense of humor and Infectious laugh. Mark, you and your family are in our thoughts. Beth & Tommy

The world has lost one of its best
I was a most enthusiastic fan of Debbie although from afar personally and more through my guru Mark, but from the first time I heard her vibrant voice, most upbeat spirit and intensely fresh and forthright attitude I knew she was a real gem of a person. Her fresh and candid response to life filled me with her infectious positive strength. This was many years ago but left a most indelible impression on me and i always looked forward to connecting with her again
I finally did at the opening of the new Morgan Stanley quarters at the beach. And, it was just as I imagined it would be Debbie was there and we spoke for a long time about so many things just as if I had known her all along. I felt I almost had a new best friend she just gave me that feeling which was so gratifying and lovely
I loved how Debbie was an animal advocate and I was so happy she went forward to adopt her last dog..lit was a unique choice of breed and age, but that was how I saw Debbie a one of a kind woman whose strength and courage gave me a huge role model to follow and always will
I personally need more like Debbie in my life
We all do
My enormous condolences to mark who has given me so much in the world of investing and of course to her two children whose gifts were nurtured by their mother
This turn of events is quite the unthinkable
I have no idea of how to handle it or what to express to mark who is my rock of wisdom except to say that the world has lost such a wonderful person and how much I will strive to put into my life some of her indomitable spirit which only from a few encounters with her burst forth
