Donald Oreck Obituary

ORECK, Donald Allen Born in Los Angeles in 1930, passed away on March 5 after a long struggle with a degenerative brain disease. After serving in the army and a brief stint with the LAPD, Don became an actor in radio, t.v. and film. In the early 60's he took over a small business which he ran successfully for over 30 years.
He leaves behind a son Kevin, a daughter Elizabeth, and scores of friends and loved-ones who will miss his tremendous sense of humor, warm-heartedness, and gregariousness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m., at the Hollywood Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Flr. 17, Chicago, IL, 60601-7633.
