Dear Nanci & Wendy,

I was saddened this morning when I found your dad's name in the obituaries of the Los Angeles Times. I was a patient of his in the 1970's and he was the best doctor I ever had. To this day I speak of him and often use him as an icon for what a doctor should be. When he retired I felt that I had lost a friend as well as a doctor. My deepest sympathy to you both and all your family

Dearest Nanci.

I know how hard it is to lose a parent.

I was very fond of your father. We shared many good times, and many bad times. He was very loving to Ralph, and to me. I will miss him.

Please extend my sympthaties to Wendy.

Love, Joan

My mom called me this afternoon and told me about your dad. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Uncle Ed was always so sweet to me. I will miss him.
