Edward "Buz" Schwartz

SCHWARTZ, Edward "Buz" Popular radio talk show host Buz Schwartz passed away quietly at home in Pasadena October 14, 2006. Buz was the long time host of the Investor's Club of the Air and the owner/operator of Money Radio, radio station KMNY of Upland, California. More recently Buz provided market timing advice for individual investors online at investors-Club.com. Always the quintessential entrepreneur, Buz strayed far from his roots as an electronics engineer. He was a pioneer in the radio paging business, successfully importing the first Japanese pagers into the US in the late 1960's. Later he founded Sell Overseas America and Showcase USA Magazine to promote American exports. Born May 20, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York, Buz served in the South Pacific during WWII as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard. He is survived by daughter Ronni and son Martin.
