Edwin Leon Williams M.D. Jr.

December 26, 1930 - December 19, 2014 Dr. Edwin Leon Williams, Jr., 83, of Beverly Hills peacefully passed away at his home on December 19, 2014. Born in Washington D.C. to Dr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Williams, Sr., Edwin was a graduate of Howard University, Catholic University, and University of Wisconsin Neurology under eminent physician and neurologist, Francis Michael Forster, M.D. Edwin later served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force in Japan as a medical doctor before moving to Los Angeles in the early 1960's. Edwin taught at USC, had a private Neurology practice, and served on the Multiple Sclerosis and Epilepsy Boards during his long and successful medical career. An active member of Good Shepard Catholic Church, Edwin will be missed by his wife Joyce, his sons Christopher and Colin, their spouses Vania and Sanne, and his grandchildren Kai, Anouk and Isabella. Dr. Williams was always hard-working, but yet had a gentle spirit. He was a sweet, generous man with a renowned sense of humor, who did so much for his family and community. A celebration of Edwin's life will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his residence starting at 11:00 a.m.
