Elaine Nassiri Obituary

July 19, 1940 - January 24, 2021 It is with inconsolable hearts that we announce the passing of Elaine Nassiri of Porter Ranch, on January 24th 2021.Elaine was born on July 19, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to Morris and Rose Silverstein, and graduated from James Madison High School. In the years that followed she would find her greatest happiness as a wife, mother and grandmother. In 1971, she met the love of her life, Tom. They married and were inseparable for the next five decades. Elaine and Tom raised three daughters, Pamela, Judy, and Jennifer. Elaine was a loving daughter, a caring sister, a devoted wife, and an adoring mother and grandmother. Her smile was the warm blanket in which all who loved her were wrapped. She was our light in the darkness, our harbor in the storm, and our inspiration in the journey. She lived her life with an open and grateful heart that cast her warmth and kindness on all who knew her. Elaine was so kind and welcoming and always had a big smile on her face. She loved spending time with family, friends and the many dogs that filled her life. She loved traveling, reading, shopping and meeting her friends for lunch. She was the ultimate hostess at parties in her home and dinner parties at restaurants abroad while accompanying Tom on the many business trips that took them all over the world. Elaine was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Stan. She is survived by her husband, her three daughters, and her four grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. For those interested, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org) in memoriam of Elaine Nassiri.
