My Auntie Ellie was one of my favorite people on earth, and I loved her my entire life. She was married to my mother's brother, my Uncle Frank Sissons, and was my mother's best friend since high school, as well as her Matron of Honor at her wedding. I had lost touch with Auntie Ellie for several years, but was lucky to find her again a few years ago, and visit her at her lovely home and meet her darling Charlie. We had kept in touch by phone and writing, and I knew she was in poor health, but I was shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. She was, and always will be, a precious part of my earliest, happiest memories, and I am so glad I was able to reconnect with her, even for such a short time. I love her so much, and I will miss her terribly.
