Dearest Ellie,
Even though I didn't physically see you much, we did share many delightful phone chats. Through our conversations, you were excited to talk about the memories of your five sons during their childhood (which brought laughter to my face), your husband Cliff, all the wonderful things your grandchildren and great grandchildren were engaged in, the animals in your life, your artistic friends plus the events you attended with them, and of course, your frustration with computers and technology. Can't say I didn't carry some of those same frustrations, ugh!
Being an avid reader, you loved sharing about the books you were reading. One of the classic books you finally read, Gone with the Wind, was very gratifying to you. You learned certain things about women of that era that you didn't realize before. You loved intelligence and expanding your knowledge about a vast assortment of topics. You were never dull or without an opinion. Your strong and eager nature about living life will live on. Thank you for being a part of my family circle.
I miss you Ellie and thank you for all our wonderful chats. May you RIP and please say hello to the love of my life, your son Robert, aka Bobby!
Love, Deborah
